World seeds
All Terraria world seeds (1.4.5)
Terraria 1.4.5 has 9 special world seeds and 37 secret seeds (46 in total). Special seeds such as For the Worthy or the new Skyblock change the whole world; secret seeds, new in 1.4.5, make one change each, for example invisible plane (coat everything echo) or too easy (start in Hardmode). Type a code in the seed box when you create a world; capitals, spaces and symbols are ignored. In 1.4.5 special seeds can also be combined from the seed menu.
The 9 special seeds

The 37 secret seeds
Grouped as the game groups them. The full table with every code is on the 1.4.5 secret seeds page.
- World paint (4): Paint or coat every block placed during world creation with one colour or coating.
- World generation (5): Change the shape of the terrain: holes, no surface, round planetoids, a sky-high surface or extra liquid.
- Biome generation (7): Change which biomes appear and how much of the world they take.
- Structure generation (9): Add, enlarge or swap structures such as houses, teleporters, living trees and floating islands.
- Passive effects (5): Keep an effect running for the whole world: rain, Halloween, Christmas or lightning.
- Spawn points (2): Change where players appear when they join or respawn.
- Other effects (5): Everything else: two Dungeons, a glitched world, a Blood Moon start, starting in Hardmode and more.

Questions players ask
How do I enter a secret seed?
Create a new world, open the seed field and type the code. Capitals, spaces and punctuation do not matter. Once found, a secret seed stays unlocked in the seed menu.
What is the Skyblock seed?
A 1.4.5 special seed: you start on a tiny floating island with a Shimmer island in the distance. Its code is skyblock.
Are secret seeds case-sensitive?
No. The game ignores capitals, spaces and symbols, so beam me up and BeamMeUp are the same seed.
