How the order works

Only a few bosses are hard gates. The Wall of Flesh starts Hardmode. All three mechanical bosses must die before Plantera's Bulbs grow. Plantera drops the Temple Key that opens the way to Golem, Golem makes the cultists appear for the Lunatic Cultist, and the Lunatic Cultist starts the Lunar Events that lead to Moon Lord. Everything else is a recommendation: King Slime, Deerclops, Queen Slime, Duke Fishron and the Empress of Light are optional, and you can fight the mechanical bosses in any order.
