Brain of Cthulhu is boss #4 of 33 in our Terraria 1.4.5 order (main boss 4 of 18). Summon: Use a Bloody Spine in the Crimson, or break three Crimson Hearts. HP: 1,250 Classic / 2,125 Expert / 2,709 Master; base defense 14. Key drops: Tissue Sample, Crimtane Ore, Bone Rattle and Brain of Confusion. Beating it unlocks Tissue Samples for Crimson armor and the Deathbringer Pickaxe, and the Tavernkeep can now be found. Fight it after Eater of Worlds and before Queen Bee.
